For the first time in history, a Dragon Quest game is going to be available on Steam.
Although this isn’t a fully fledged Dragon Quest game, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is the most recent Dragon Quest title, and is now available on PC.
Dragon Quest Heroes is a hack and slash spin off game similar in function to Dynasty Warriors. But have no fear! The game is still as much of a Dragon Quest game as any other, especially with the original game developers involved in creating it.
Dragon Quest Heroes launched on Xbox One and PS4 earlier this year with fairly positive responses. Now it appears Square Enix is continuing its push to PC, porting older games including this one.
The game releases on Steam December 3rd for $59.99, however, if you pre-order the game you will get a 10% discount from it’s final price, as well as 11 slime weapons and two new maps.
Another Square Enix game arriving on Steam next month Is Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the final installment in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy on December 10th.
