The Playstation 4 has got a whole lot of great looking games coming up but one of the most interesting that I have seen is Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, in the case of story driven games that spread a wide sense of mystery this one looks to be quite decent. From the look of trailers I honestly would say that the game could last a while as you get wrapped up in exploring this interesting and reasonably deep would. Of course, developer The Chinese Room has announced just how long this game should take to get through when responding to a fans question, according to them the game should not take a large chunk of your time as they responded by saying:
Depends a lot on how much you explore. Probably 4-6 hours. Lots of insides to explore 🙂
The studio was also asked if the game might see a physical release which in all honesty would be the preferred release method, unfortunately this most likely won’t happen as the studio has said they must sell a large amount of copies. Essentially pointing out a physical release would be extremely pointless.
Not unless it sells a very large number of copies 😉
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will release exclusively on the Playstation 4 digital store on August 11th.
