Famitsu: Luigi’s Mansion Holds, Ace Combat 7 Approaches

Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers July 8 – 14, as Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD spends yet another week on top thanks to an additional 16,000 copies sold. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD has now had three weeks at #1 on the Famitsu Sales Chart, and needs to hold just one more for a chance at a full month.

In second place this week is a new debut, with Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition close behind Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD with a little over 14,000 sales. The second place sales managing to get so close to the first place may be a challenge for Luigi’s Mansion if it hopes to keep the charts locked down for a full month, but time will tell!

Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition
Ace Combat 7 may be second place on the Famitsu sales chart, but it was a close approach to the top spot.
