Famitsu: Power Pros 2024-2025 Swings Past 220,000 Sales

Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers July 29 – August 4, as for a third week in a row Power Pros 2024-2025 is the reigning game on the charts! With an extra 21,000 copies sold, the Japanese baseball game has now breezed past the 220,000 sales point.

As for the rest of the chart, it’s mostly the lovely evergreen Nintendo Switch titles we’re all familiar with seeing now, alongside the recent releases of Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition and One Piece Odyssey Deluxe Edition for Switch, which fall to #8 and #9 on the chart respectively. The highest selling of the evergreen Switch games is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which sits comfortably at #2 thanks to an additional 10,000 copies sold this week. The Mario Kart franchise really is a force to be reckoned with!
