Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers July 15 – 21, as Power Pros 2024-2025, Konami’s Japanese baseball video game series, manages to secure both the top two spots on this week’s chart. The latest entry with Power Pros 2024-2025 sold just under 167,000 copies on Nintendo Switch, with an additional 49,000 on PS4. This gives the baseball game over 216,000 sales across platforms in just its first week.
Power Pros isn’t the only debut this week, as Nintendo had their own big release with the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition taking third place thanks to over 27,000 units sold. Finally, down at #9 we have the debut of visual anime novel Mystonia’s Wings – The Lost Delight, which shipped a little over 5,000 copies. It’s a good week for new games on the Famitsu sales chart, with Power Pros having the biggest hit of them all.
