Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Sells So Well It’s Getting Free DLC

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a sequel to the 2014 3DS release Fantasy Life developed by Level-5, and nobody expected it to perform as well as it has over the last week. After releasing on May 21, Level-5 announced that The Girl Who Steals Time surpassed 500,000 units sold just three days later as of May 24. This is beyond even the developer’s expectations, as they’ve announced that their huge player base are getting rewarded to celebrate the milestone.

To thank players for their support, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will be getting a free DLC that will add new content to the base game for all players. Details are relatively sparse based on the announcement post, but the free content drop will add new recipes along with new content that will enable players to use their high-rarity weapons more and allow them to “truly shine”, along with “even more opportunities” to showcase your gear. No release window has been announced, but details are expected to come soon.

A sequel to a relatively niche 3DS game, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has impressed with its success.

It’s great to see The Girl Who Steals Time perform so well, especially as a sequel to a game from so long ago that went a little under the radar. Along with free DLC, Level-5 are also celebrating by giving fans the chance to win a copy of the game over on social media, along with a free gift code to redeem a bunch of items that’ll help in your adventure. If you’re interested, that code is T2GC6EQL!
