FIFA 13 won’t be out until September 25 in North America and September 28 in Europe, but EA Sports announced that as of September 13, preorders for the game is at a 37% year over year increase in Europe and a 62% increase in North America! That’s a grand total of over 875,000 copies for the soccer video game. Even more good news: in its first 3 days of availability, the demo was downloaded by 2 million people for the X360 and PS3. Compared to the first 3 days of FIFA 12’s demo , that’s a 29 percent bump.
Sounds like any inklings that Konami’s PES 2013 will outpace FIFA sales can be put to rest.
Subscribers of EA Sports’ Season Ticket program, which is $25 a year, can download the entire game on September 21. Meanwhile, European Season Ticket holders can dowload FIFA on September 22, 3 days before its even released in North America.
