“Final Battle” Trailer has Released for Kingdom Hearts 3

A new trailer has dropped for Kingdom Hearts 3, preparing us for the “Final Battle.”

In this trailer, we see what is at stake in the game. We see worlds being destroyed, including the Monsters Inc. and Hercules worlds. Darkness seems to prevail in this trailer, showing that things really are coming to a close.  We also get a large view of the game’s epic cast, and see characters such as Roxas show up.

There is also a quick scene showing that Sora will not be the only playable character in Kingdom Hearts 3. We briefly see that Riku will be playable, though we do not know at what capacity.

The “Final Battle” trailer dropped soon after details of the limited edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro bundle were released. The bundle will include a special 1TB PlayStation 4 Pro and DualShock 4 controller, both with special designs on them, and the PS4 having a leather-texture finish.

The bundle will also include the game, as well as PlayStation exclusive digital content (a Kingdom Hearts PlayStation theme and the Midnight Blue keyblade). The North American version of the bundle will come with the standard edition of the game, while the European version will include the limited edition, a Steelbook case, Sora pin, and an art book.

Also recently announced was the Kingdom Hearts 3 Ultimania. This book will include maps of all the worlds, information on items and enemies, and behind-the-scenes content. This Ultimania will drop in Japan on February 28th, 2019. There has been no word on if or when the book will release in North America.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will finally release on January 29th on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
