We now know when to expect the Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro bundle that was announced at E3 to drop.
The limited edition Kingdom Hearts 3 themed PS4 Pro bundle will release alongside the game in January, Sony has announced. The bundle is a GameStop exclusive in America, and an EB Games exclusive in Canada. A retailer for the European version has not been announced.
The bundle will run gamers in America $399.99. Those in Canada will have to drop $499.99 CAD. The bundle includes a 1TB PS4 Pro, a special DualShock 4 controller, a copy of Kingdom Hearts 3, and PS4 exclusive digital content (a Kingdom Hearts PlayStation theme and the Midnight Blue keyblade). The PlayStation itself will be embossed with a Kingdom-Hearts-themed design, and will have a leather-texture finish. The DualShock 4 controller will have a glossy finish and special decorations on the touch pad and around the D-pad. You can check out the system below.
The North American version of the bundle will come with the standard edition of Kingdom Hearts 3. It was announced that the European version of the bundle, however, will come with the limited edition of the game. This version includes the game, an exclusive Sora pin, a steelbook, and a full-color hardback art book.
Square Enix has also announced the Kingdom Hearts 3 Ultimania. This book will include flat and 3D maps of all the game’s worlds, as well as in-depth details of different forms and abilities. It will also include information on enemies, items and more. There will be an exclusive special interview in the book, and more behind-the-scenes information. This Ultimania is available for pre-order on the Japanese Square Enix eStore. It will release on Feb 28, 2019 in Japan. There is no word on if or when the book would be coming to North America, but there is a good chance as all of the Final Fantasy Ultimania books have been coming overseas.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will release for the PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 29.
