First gameplay shown off for Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy

Sony captured fans attention back at E3 when they revealed that the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy would be getting remastered for the Playstation 4, and finally after months of waiting we are able to see official footage, featuring gameplay, as well as getting some official details on what is happening in this collection, and a proper title.

Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy is being developed by Vicarious Visions the people who have brought us the more modern Crash games, as well as doing work on the Skylanders franchise. They showed the first gameplay for the collection at Playstation Experience which can be seen in the trailer below:

Speaking on the Playstation Blog, the developers opted to go into further depth to take about what they are calling a “remaster plus”, which will include rebuilt levels, characters, and cinematics with heavy inspirations from the original games. The “plus” comment is born from the added inclusion of a unified checkpoint and save system, and new time trials for all three games.

Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy will be arriving on the Playstation 4 in 2017.
