It’s almost time for a new season of Fortnite OG, as the third season of its nostalgia-fuelled battle royale mode prepares for launch tomorrow on March 25. A new teaser trailer dropped over on Fortnite‘s social media, and it gave us a first peek at the skins we’ll see in the accompanying OG Pass. There’s something for everyone, as some fan-favorite skins get a new Remix to fit the season, including the green dinosaur Rex!
The teaser shows us three new skins in particular we need to highlight. Firstly, there’s the Rex Remix, which takes on a new armored, almost robotic style appearance, being much more metallic than his usual soft plush-style fabric outfit. There’s also a remixed Raven skin, with his standard cloaked attire also now being armored, somewhat resembling a knight. The final new skin we spotted is the remixed astronaut, a key character in the original Fortnite Season 3 release back in 2018 – now with an edgier, punk aesthetic.
Along with the new cosmetics in the OG pass, the meteor will be returning to the skies of the Fortnite island, along with a fully loaded new loot pool, and the iconic landmark of Lucky Landing. There will be more new cosmetics in the OG pass than the ones previewed today, but Epic is keeping those under wraps until the full Fortnite OG Season 3 launch tomorrow morning.
