Alongside the reveal of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, The Coalitian announced the highly anticipated Gears of War 4 and showing off our first footage of the game.
Based on the footage shown it appears Gear of War 4 is quite far along in development, much further in fact than most dared to dream, and the new game features a practically non-existent HUD. Something that strikes us as more interesting is that series protagonist Marcus Pheonix does not appear to be the main character in the game. This seems to be implying that the game will feature an entirely new backstory.
