Genshin Impact Ayato Build

As usual, the best gear for Ayato is his signature weapon, Haran Geppaku Futsu. Besides increasing his CRIT Rate, this sword can boost his Elemental DMG Bonus. When party members use Elemental Skills, Ayato will gain one Wavespike stack, which will be consumed when he uses an Elemental Skill. In return, his Normal Attack DMG will be buffed by 20 percent for 8 seconds.

You should equip the Echoes of an Offering set on Ayato since this relic can increase his ATK by 18 percent. Not only that, but he has a 36 percent chance to trigger Valley Rite whenever he hits opponents with Normal Attack. This effect will increase his Normal Attack DMG, and it will be dispelled after he lands a hit. If he fails to trigger Valley Rite, the odds of the effect triggering the next time will increase by 20 percent.

If you have Primogems to get his copies, you should aim to unlock Ayato’s C2, World Source. This Constellation raises Namisen’s maximum stack count to 5. When he has at least 3 Namisen stacks, his Max HP will be increased by 50 percent.

When upgrading his Talents, you should focus on Ayato’s Elemental Skill and Burst first to increase his maximum damage output. His Normal Attack should be your last priority, but you should still upgrade it if you want to use him as your main DPS.
