Genshin Impact Emperor Of Fire And Iron World Boss Guide
The Emperor of Fire and Iron is located in the Belleau Region’s Underwater Cave. To enter this area, you need to dive into a tunnel on the northwest side of the boss icon. Here is its exact location:
It is quite deep and long, but at the end of the tunnel, you will discover a Hydroculus and a Teleport Waypoint. Make sure that you activate it so you can instantly fast-travel to this location in the future.
The Emperor of Fire and Iron will be protected by a Pyro shield at the start of the fight. I highly recommend bringing a Hydro unit to take down this barrier quickly. Xingqiu will be the best candidate, but you can also use Barbara if you don’t have him.
The boss is also vulnerable against Electro, so you can bring Fischl or other Lightning units into this battle. With both Hydro and Pyro characters in your team, you can trigger the powerful Vaporize and Overloaded reactions.
The Emperor of Fire and Iron has four main attacks:
- Volcano Fire Balls – It will launch a volley of projectiles from the two volcanos on its back.
- Lava Claw Attack – The monster will strike the ground with its claw and send a line of lava toward you.
- Jump Attack – It will leap into the air and try to land on top of your head.

Your main goal is to quickly remove the shield protecting the Emperor of Fire and Iron. Once the barrier is broken, the boss will become vulnerable for several seconds, allowing you to hit the monster freely.
