To start the quest, first you need to collect a total of three Courier Trial’s Keystones. You can find them in the Ancestral temple area. To collect them you first need to indwell a Yumkasaurus, so you can navigate around quickly. You also need the saurian to throw the relay balls in the matching color platforms.

The First Platform is located just above the Ancestral Temple teleport waypoint. You just need to climb up by using a Yumkasaurus and you will eventually spot a yellow platform. All you need to do here is grab the yellow relay ball and aim at the yellow platform and shoot it. An exquisite chest will be unlocked containing one of the keystones.

The second one can be found across the eastern side of the Ancestral Temple, however you will notice that the ball isn’t the same color, so you need to aim it at the red color converter ahead. After shooting the relay ball, you need to quickly pull out the device on the wall to unlock the way for the relay ball to hit the red color platform, you will get another chest with a keystone in it.

The third keystone is a little tricky to obtain. From the location of the second keystone, you will spot a building nearby, so with your Yumkasaurus quickly travel to it. Go to the left side of the building and if you look backwards, you will spot the final color converter So, now you have to get to that point using Yumkasaurus’ abilities.

You will notice that you can actually hit the converter to change its shooting direction. Hold the relay ball in Yumkasaurus mouth, after hitting the converter. Shoot it across the color converter, and then quickly hit the converter again to unlock the cage covering the platform. After that obtain the final keystone from the exquisite chest.

Remember that building, you saw earlier? All you need to do is head back there again and unlock it using the keystones. You have to place them in the mechanism in front of the structure. Insert all your keystones and a cutscene will start with Legba. After that, you can go further in the ruins.

How To Solve The Ruins Puzzle

Let’s solve the riddle in the ruin puzzle!

To solve the puzzle, you need to “line up the lights in this place.” That’s the only clue the game will give you before pointing you towards a mechanism. So, indwell a Saurian again and unlock the mechanism, you will now notice a lantern moving in a straight line, as soon as it shines brightly, you have to lock the mechanism. You have to repeat this, until you find all mechanisms and unlock the way forward.

The next mechanism is located on the right side of the ruins, so indwell a Saurian and go through the opening on the right wall, climb all the way up till you spot the mechanism – but before you can unlock it, you need to open the door using the device next to it. Line up the two lanterns when they both lit up.

The final mechanism is on the left side, but to unveil it you first need to break a wall first. Grab one of those exploding barrels with the Yumkasaurus and shoot it at the cracked wall above, climb up and unlock the mechanism to light up the final two lanterns.

You will face a Dendro Wayob manifestation at the end, and after defeating it a cutscene will start; and you would have successfully completed the To The Night, What Is The Night quest!
