People have been asking for a new God of War game to come to the Playstation 4 game since the console arrived, many taking news of nothing and turning into we are getting a new God of War game, trust me I have read the comments on many of those articles on other websites. Whatever the case people will still be getting a God of War game but it won’t be a new one, it has been announced that God of War 3 Remastered will be arriving on the Playstation 4 in July for the somewhat cheap price of $40 (remember you can still get the game on the Playstation 3 for less, but should you not own a Playstation 3 then that is a not bad price). However in case you wish to see more games in the franchise be remastered then I am sorry to tell you that they will not be bringing any other games in the franchise to Sony’s home console. Sony Santa Monica’s Aaron Kaufman has stated that the developer has no intention of bringing any other entries over to the current generation. He also has explained why they decided to bring the game over, here is what he had to say:
“No plans for others in the franchise to bring over. Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play God of War 3 5 years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4. People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we’d like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, form generation to generation”
