Have you been wondering what exact changes we could be seeing in Majora’s Mask on the 3DS, well we now know a small selection of them and they will impact the game, some really good, some alright. I have placed the exact changes that we currently know of below:
Bomber’s Notebook
– Shows your current quests, rumors you’ve heard, and your completed quests
– The Bombers gang will now also give you rumors if you talk to them
– You can now set alarms in the Bomber’s Notebook
Saving
– Can now only save by using owl statues
– More statues now around Termina
Song of Double Time
– In the original Majora’s Mask, the Song of Double Time let Link shift time forward to either dawn or nightfall
– Can now shift time forward to any hour
Fishing
– Two fishing holes
– Each fishing hole has 10 different types of fish
The only thing I am hoping for with this is that owl statues will be as recurring as the bird statue in Skyward Sword, including them in dungeons among other places would be helpful to us and allow us to shut off more often when needed. Other then that I am fine with this the other changes seem good especially that song of double time idea which will be great for side quests in my opinion.
