Here’s What’s Coming In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’s Roadmap

It was a breath of fresh air when Ubisoft released Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which was the first Prince of Persia game released since the Shadow of the Flame remake back in 2013. However, since its hugely successful launch, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be getting plenty of exciting content, thanks to a recently revealed roadmap.

From what was shown off, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be getting plenty of new post-launch content, including a DLC that will add two new challenge modes to the game. These new modes are Speedrun Mode and Permadeath Mode, and to spice things up in terms of adding a bit more style, players will also be able to unlock new outfits for Sargon as an added bonus.

Players can expect the Warrior’s Path DLC to be available on March 20, but that’s not the only new content coming to the game. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will also be getting a new Boss Rush Mode, and much like the previous DLC, there will also be new outfits to unlock. Though, these will come later in the year and are set to release sometime in 2024. The Divine Trials DLC will be adding many new combat and puzzle mechanics, along with even more platforming challenges, as well as several new items. Lastly, and likely the biggest highlight for this title, fans can also expect a new story DLC that might come later this year. Unfortunately, unlike the other DLCs, we don’t have that many details on what will be added but we will likely hear more soon.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has built up quite the fandom with both critics and fans of the series sharing high praise for the current release. Players from all around were more than happy to see that this series is still very much alive and kicking ever since its release in January. Considering how well Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was received and with a lot more DLC content on the way according to the roadmap, we can only hope that Ubisoft will be reviving the series but we’ll have to wait and see what they have in store.
