First up, you should know when exactly you can get your hands on Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game releases globally on September 4, but the time varies per region. Despite being the much-anticipated and likely bigger sequel to Hollow Knight, the file size for Silksong is surprisingly smaller than the original game. At launch, Hollow Knight: Silksong will be just 8GB! That’s even smaller than the original game’s 9GB install size.

Yes, Hollow Knight: Silksong has a Switch 2 Edition available at launch that comes with “enhanced features” for the platform. Most excitingly though, this comes as a free update to the base game, with the Hollow Knight: Silksong Upgrade Pack available to claim completely free of charge!
