Injustice 2 Legendary Edition Announced for March 27

We are all used to the routine by now; many games are released, the developers spend the year adding additional content that purchasers of the game at launch pay for, and then they release an enhanced edition, often the following year. This is the pattern for most games, especially fighting games such as the DC Superhero brawler Injustice. Who would have guessed that Injustice 2 would be receiving the same treatment?

NetherRealm Studios has spent most of 2017 ironing out Injustice 2 with a stream of new content, and all of it will come together in one package in the newly announced Injustice 2 Legendary Edition. Coming to both console and PC on March 27, the brawler will include everything from the base game along with all additional characters. These include Darkseid, Red Hood, Starfire, Sub-Zero, Black Manta, Hellboy, Atom, Enchantess, and the recently released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Legendary Edition will also bring the Premiere Skins that only purchasers of the Ultimate Edition could own. Additionally, there will also be some improved in-game options, such as an expansion to the game’s tutorial in the form of Learn Hub. There will also be new gear for all characters, and players can look forward to an increase to the character level cap. Getting a character to level 30 also brings new augment slots to tinker with.

If you have yet to pick up Injustice 2 and are interested in the game, pick up the Legendary Edition, which is clearly the definitive way to play the game.
