No More Free PlayStation Plus Games For PS3 and Vita

March comes with an outstanding lineup of free games, but with it comes some disappointing news from Sony. Starting next March, there will no longer be free PlayStation Plus games offered for the PlayStation 3 or Vita. This affects PlayStation 4 users as well. The free Vita titles are primarily playable on the PS4 via cross play, thus less free games for PS4 users. On the bright side, March’s games are looking great.

Bloodborne (PS4)

If you haven’t played Bloodborne yet, now is the time! Even if it isn’t your cup of tea, there’s no money lost. This game is well known and highly praised for its gameplay. Although not as challenging as the Dark Souls games, it bears many similarities. For RPG fans, this an excellent play.

Ratchet and Clank (PS4)

The Ratchet and Clank series is well loved, and it’s nice to see this title not only on the PS4 but offered for free. It’s a 3-D platformer and shooter with cartoonish animations. High praise from fan and critics alike have followed this games since it released, unlike the movie. Ratchet and Clank for PS4 was made along with a Ratchet and Clank movie in 2016. The movie was a disaster, but luckily the game succeeds in almost every aspect.

Titles Offered For Other Consoles Include:

  • Legend of Kay (PS3)
  • Mighty No. 9 (PS3, PS4)
  • Claire: Extended Cut (Vita, PS4)
  • Bombing Busters (Vita, PS4)
