Injustice 2 officially announced, coming to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One in 2017

Injustice 2 has been teased for days, and ultimately may as well have been announced given just how much of a poor job the developers have done at covering this game up. So, now it should come as no surprise to anybody that Injustice 2 is real, and the game has been officially announced. The reveal came with a cinematic trailer which showed multiple heroes in a fight which included Superman, The Flash, Batman, Aquaman and Supergirl (the latter of which is a new character), as the battle rages on we slowly see their costumes change and become armor which could be a potential big deal gameplay wise in Injustice 2. All characters shown in the trailer are confirmed to be in the game, as well Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd who have also been confirmed as playable combatants.

On top of the elements that were already in the previous game, Injustice 2 will be adding a handful of new features, among these is a loot drop system that will provide players with gear to equip to characters. This will allow a whole lot more in terms of customizing your favorite heroes and villains to suit your preference.

One thing that should be addressed in the games launch platforms, Injustice 2 has been confirmed to be arriving in 2017 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, however no PC version has been announced. This could be a sign that a PC version is just not happening given the poor quality of previous releases, Arkham Knight anyone, and if so then we have to accept it, perhaps future Warner Brothers titles will be console only.
