The Dusk Bow was once the weapon of a previous incarnation of Princess Zelda, and she used it to fight against the encroaching Twilight. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can pick up this weapon for free by visiting a hard-to-reach area in the Hyrule Castle. It’s worth the journey, because this bow can fire at a very long range. If you want to know its exact location, read this guide to find out!
The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Dusk Bow Location
You can acquire the Dusk Bow from a hole in the tallest tower in Hyrule Castle. Launching yourself from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower is the easiest way to reach this area, but you can also try climbing the tower from the castle ground.
If you decide to go gliding from the Lookout Landing, you should bring some Energizing Elixirs because the journey requires around two wheels of stamina. You can craft this tonic by combining three Restless Crickets and one monster part. (Alternately, you can cook meals using Endura Carrots, Stamella Shrooms, Endura Shrooms, or Staminoka Bass.)
To obtain Restless Crickets, you simply need to cut down the grass outside Lookout Landing. The insects will immediately fly away once you remove their hiding places, so be sure you quickly press the A button to catch them. For monster parts, you can use any loot you obtain from killing enemies. Bokoblin Horns are generally the easiest to come by. Once you’re ready, you can throw yourself into the air by examining the launching pad in the Skyview Tower.
If you can access Tulin’s Sage of Wind power, the journey will be slightly faster since he can boost your speed in the air. Just keep gliding north, and you will eventually see the tallest tower of Hyrule Castle.
You will find a small hole on the left side of the roof, and you must land near that area to reach the Dusk Bow. The weapon will be lying in the open, and you can simply pick it up. If you decide to go further down the tower, you can also discover some treasure chests containing Royal weapons. All of them are decayed, but they’re among the best weapons you can get in the game.
Now that you have obtained the Dusk Bow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can try getting other great gear in the game. For example, you can also acquire the iconic Fierce Deity armor set from three treasure chests scattered around Hyrule’s surface.
