Limited Physical Copies of Snake Pass Coming to Switch

Sumo Digital, the British development studio behind Snake Pass, recently announced that the game would be getting physical copies for the Nintendo Switch. Snake Pass was originally launched in digital format only for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC back in March of 2017. But soon, digital won’t be the only format the game will exist in.

Sumo Digital has been responsible for developing well-known racing games such as Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360), Forza Motorsport 6: Apex (Windows), and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. It has also developed Little Big Planet 3 and is currently working on the upcoming Dead Island 2.

Their announcement came via the official Snake Pass Twitter account, where they stated they were teaming up with Super Rare Games to bring fans what they always wanted: a physical copy of Snake Pass. Super Rare Games has made it a point to format  exclusive digital indie games into physical copies for the Nintendo Switch. You can say it’s their specialty.

No mention of when the game would launch or how much it would be was stated. They simply asked fans to stay tuned for more details. Meanwhile, if you find yourself impatient and want to get your hands on the game, it is already playable in digital format for the above mentioned platforms.
