We now know when to expect Cooler to join the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster.
In the latest issue of V-Jump (via Gematsu), it was revealed that Cooler will release in late September. The fighter will set gamers back $4.99. Cooler's super specials include Death Fall, a nosedive attack similar to Frieza's Nova Strike, and Death Crusher, a rush attack that swings the opponent into the wall or onto the ground when it hits. His Meteor Attack is Atomic Super Nova, which is a series of consecutive attacks followed up by a giant ball of energy. The attack is treated as a striking technique on the ground, and a throwing technique when used in the air.
Cooler was first announced at this year's EVO tournament. After the FighterZ tournament, a trailer showcasing Base Goku and Base Vegeta was shown. At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that Cooler would be coming to FighterZ as a DLC character.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch port will release on September 28. The latest DLC characters, Base Goku and Base Vegeta, are available now.
