Japanese Wii U owners are likely jumping for joy this week as they receive Mario Golf from the Nintendo 64 on the virtual console. As it turns out Japan might not be the only area receiving this game as a new rating from the ESRB seems to suggest that Mario Golf will be swinging its way onto the Wii U virtual console in North America this week. The fact that ESRB has rated the game seems to imply that a release is imminent and could be out as early as tomorrow though we will have to wait and see.
Last week, a similar thing happened in regards to Sin & Punishment and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor when the ESRB rated them for release in North America and they showed up among the end of week releases.
