The release of Marvel Rivals was a wonderful end-of-year treat for many of us after its release in December, but a new year means it’s time for a new season, and Marvel Rivals is almost ready to launch its first full season. The trailer for Season 1 ‘Eternal Night Falls’ is here, and showcases the Fantastic Four as they make their first Marvel Rivals appearance – and they’re ready to take on Dracula.
Dracula is an interesting choice for a season villain, given he’s not expected to be a playable character during the season based on current leaks, and he’s not a villain often attributed to the Fantastic Four. Perhaps Fortnite‘s own usage of Galactus and Doctor Doom had Netease choose a different villain for the foursome in Marvel Rivals that hasn’t been explored in any recent video games. Season 1 of Marvel Rivals will introduce the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with a full season of unlockable cosmetic rewards in the Season Pass. This season will be twice as big as Season 0 has been, doubling each type of reward, and costing twice the amount at roughly $10 USD worth of premium Lattice currency to purchase.
