Modern Warfare II Gets New Maps, Operators, and Weapons

Two classic maps from Modern Warfare 2019 will return as part of Season One in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The details were revealed in an official blog post, which confirmed “reimagined” versions of Shoot House and fan favourite map Shipment would arrive for Season One.

Shoot House, which players can jump into from launch, is a map set in the heart of the jungle, south of Las Almas. The Shoot House map “was built for training cartel hired guns with the same level of intensity as Mexican Special Forces Operators.” The map will be “just as deadly as you remember it — a small, three-laned map conducive to all playstyles.”

At the mid-season point, Shipment will become available to players, offering the chaos “that only an ultra-compact map can provide,” the studio says. Both maps are “hallowed ground for camo grinders and are incredibly notorious for frenetic and fun action.”

Also as part of Season One of Modern Warfare II, four new weapons will be available to the community, including two freebies to claim from the Battle Pass. These include the Victus XMR, the BAS-P SMG (from launch), and the Chimera and M13B Assault Rifles (later in the season).

Then we’ve got six—yes, six—new operators. The first three include characters Zeus, Klaus, and Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick. The other three might take you by surprise. Players can add celebrities and football legends Neymar Jr, Paul Pogba, and Lionel Messi as part of the upcoming Modern Warfare FC event. The player skins will release on November 21st, 25th, and 29th, respectively.
