MultiVersus Season 1 is set to be released on Aug. 15, and two new villainous characters are joining the lineup. Thanks to some promotional artwork leaking, we now know Stripe from Gremlins and DC’s Black Adam will be joining the MultiVersus roster some time during Season 1.
Twitter user @InTheShadeMV has been keeping track of MultiVersus leaks, and shared the leaked promotional artwork. Originally a low quality picture of a TV screen, it has since been enhanced to give us much clearer details of the characters.

Black Adam looks great, with his suit being a brighter yellow than we would typically see. This is likely to help it blend in with the rest of the colourful MultiVersus cast, many of who share cartoon origins. Stripe from Gremlins is also looking great, and as disgustingly scary as ever.
The patch notes for Season 1’s launch are here too, and have confirmed Morty from Rick and Morty will be joining the roster on Aug. 23, which potentially may be when Black Adam and Stripe join the cast as well. Along with Morty’s addition, the patch notes detail plenty of buffs and nerfs for various characters.
