Three new DLC characters have been announced for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.
In the new trailer below, the characters featured in the “Cross Tag Character Pack 3” were announced. The three characters are Vatista from Under Night In-Birth, the sword-wielding Hakumen from BlazBlue, and the 2000 I.Q. Killjoy Detective Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4 Arena.
The “Cross Tag Character Pack 3” is one of six character packs planned for Cross Tag Battle. Previously announced packs include characters such as Platinum the Trinity, Kanji Tatsumi, and Carmine Prime. The character packs will cost $4.99 on their own. The “Cross Tag Character Collection” will include all six character packs for $19.99.
It was announced last week that Cross Tag Battle will be receiving a Collector’s Edition in North America. This edition of the game will include a steelbook cover, a 15-track soundtrack, and a softcover 52-page artbook featuring a slipcase with exclusive artwork.
The collection will also include acrylic art stands of Ragna the Bloodedge from BlazBlue, Yu Narukami from Persona 4 Arena, Hyde Kido from Under Night In-Birth, and Ruby Rose from RWBY. The Collector’s Edition of Cross Tag Battle will set gamers back $99.99.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will release in Japan on May 31st, and will come to America on June 5th. The game will release sometime this summer in Europe. The game will feature 20 base characters and 20 DLC characters, including two free DLC fighters at launch.
