Nintendo Switch Adds Behind the Screen to its Collection

Cosen, a small game publisher responsible for publishing games in Asian regions Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, has announced their Behind the Screen video game is being ported to Nintendo Switch. Cosen publishes games mainly for smartphones.

Cosen’s most recent port, Behind the Screen, was released on Steam in April of this year. It is a mystery action-puzzle game that challenges players to find the reason behind a murder. A man has been convicted of killing his father, and it is up to the player to work through a series of puzzles and battles to look into the killer’s past and reveal what led him to such a horrible act.

The game takes place in Taiwan and combines fiction with reality. It allows player to partake in battles dreamed up by the protagonist as a kid, when he had trouble differentiating between reality and his dreams. Behind the Screen has a theme of fake news and how it can change the perception of the people who watch it. It also correlates to real events that occurred in Taiwan during the 1970s.

Do you have what it takes to solve a murder? Behind the Screen will test your detective skills. It is set to debut for the Switch on August 23 and will only be $9.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
