Nintendo will not show off mobile games at E3, Iwata says event is for “dedicated gaming systems”

Many people expected to see Nintendo show off mobile games at E3 this year after their previous announcement a couple of months ago, however this is not set to be the case. Nintendo is still focused on dedicated gaming systems and the Wii U so mobile games while major part of their strategy are not their key focus and Nintendo will show that at E3. Iwata told investors that Nintendo will strictly focus on games for their systems as Iwata puts it E3 is for “dedicated gaming systems” and so that is what the focus is on. We have no idea what E3 will show but Nintendo is sure to have some surprises. For those interested Nintendo plans to release their first mobile game later this year.
