No Case Should Remain Unsolved, the text-based mystery adventure from Korean developer Somi, launched on PS5 on August 19, 2026. The game is priced at $9.99, while PlayStation Plus members can receive a 20% discount through September 1, according to PLAYISM and Push Square.
The PS5 release follows earlier versions for Steam and Nintendo Switch. Somi previously developed Replica, Legal Dungeon, and The Wake. On Steam, No Case Should Remain Unsolved has an Overwhelmingly Positive rating, with about 10,000 reviewers and 96% recommending the game.
A cold case reconstructed through testimony
The story begins with the disappearance of a girl from a playground in February 2012. Police investigated the case but were unable to find the evidence needed to identify the culprit, and the investigation was closed without a resolution.
Twelve years later, a young police officer asks retired detective Jeon Gyeong, who worked on the original investigation, to revisit the case. As the detective retraces old memories, the investigation reveals that everyone connected to the disappearance had been lying for their own reasons.
Players solve the case by piecing together scattered testimonies like a jigsaw puzzle. The memory fragments are jumbled, without clear indications of who made each statement or when it was made, so players must interpret their content and tone before arranging them. As deductions reveal more of the case, the story develops toward one of two endings.
