Microsoft have recently announced October 2015’s free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360. However, you can only access this special offer each month if you’re an Xbox Live subscriber.
You can get four free games next month spread across the two platforms and they are below:
Xbox One owners have access to Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Telltale’s The Walking Dead (complete first season). Whereas, on Xbox 360 users can get Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Walking Dead (complete first season). See the image below for the games available in this months Games with Gold:
It’s probably still worth picking up the last-generation games, even if you don’t own an Xbox 360 as they could one day be made playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.
October 2015 Games With Gold Lineup:
Xbox One:
- Valiant Hearts: The Great War (October 1-31)
- The Walking Dead (October 16-November 15)
Xbox 360:
- Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (October 1-15)
- The Walking Dead (October 16-31)
If you haven’t picked up the Games with Gold for September, It’s not too late to still grab some of the free games, including Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Battlestations: Pacific, and Crysis 3.
