EA have recently announced that the Star Wars Battlefront beta will begin on October 8. The beta is open to everyone and is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, will run until October 12th.
The beta will allow players to try out the 40-player Walker Assault mode, a Survival mission and the new Drop Zone gametype. Players can also check out the new Battlefront “Companion” experience at the game’s website during the beta period.

One part of this is a strategic card game called Base Command. This card game allows players to earn in-game credits that they can then use to unlock weapons and Star Cards in the full Battlefront game.
Battlefront launches on November 17th, which is about a month before Disney’s Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is released in December. EA will also be releasing a tie-in DLC for Battlefront based on the movie which is called ‘The Battle of Jakku”
Xbox One owners with an EA Access membership will get to play Battlefront first. It will be available a full five days early.
