Get ready to return to the Oddworld series with a new game, freshly announced earlier today over on the Oddworld Facebook page we can look forward to Oddworld: Soulstorm a game that already came with a good amount of information. This game will be a direct sequel to Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty and will start from where Abe’s genesis story ended. Abe will find himself and 300 liberated Mudokons, without shelter, food or water. They discover a mysterious, but delicious, new drink that will have repercussions for their new found freedom.
The games creator Lorne Lanning has said:
“There was a deeper, darker, and more sinister story that we never got to tell. Soulstorm gives us the opportunity to flesh out more meat on the bones of an original spine, but re-tell the fable from a very different angle.”
Lanning has also stated there will be some surprises on the way, besides this Oddworld: Soulstorm has been announced to be coming in the later half of 2017.
