Outlast: Bundle of Terror Releases on Nintendo Switch, Outlast 2 Coming Late March

Red Barrel Games previously revealed the entire Outlast series to be coming to the Nintendo Switch, and much like a random jump scare, the developer has released the Outlast: Bundle of Terror onto the Switch eShop without any forewarning. Outlast: Bundle of Terror includes the excellent original game where players take on the role freelance investigative journalist Miles Upshur, who decides to investigate the remote psychiatric hospital, Mount Massive Asylum. Also included is the Whistleblower content, which centers on Waylon Park, the man who led Miles to Mount Massive Asylum in the first place.

While the original Outlast and Whisleblower have come to the Switch, we are still waiting on Outlast 2. But don’t worry, you won’t have to wait much longer. The European and Australian eShops have put up listings for the sequel suggesting a release date for March 27. Note that this could change, but it is expected that might be Outlast 2’s final release date for the Switch.

In Europe, Outlast 2 will cost £26.99. It’ll take up 9.6 GB of space. If you are interested in horror games in the slightest and have yet to play Outlast, look no further than the Switch release, but be warned, there are some unsettling themes within these games.
