Overwatch 2 Is Collaborating With Street Fighter 6

The latest crossover collaboration for Overwatch 2 has been announced, with Blizzard very much embracing the Fortnite route of partnering with other IP for their character cosmetics. The next collaboration sees the action-packed world of Street Fighter 6 coming to Overwatch 2 in the form of new character cosmetics, and there’s more than ever in an Overwatch collaboration.

The announcement comes with a flashy new trailer that showcases the Overwatch 2 heroes in action as their Street Fighter 6 counterparts, but we’ll break them down for you in just a moment. With a total of eight skins available, this is sure to be a costly bundle for fans who want to own everything. The full list of Overwatch 2Street Fighter 6 crossover skins consists of:

  • Ryu Hanzo
  • Chun-Li Juno
  • Cammy Widowmaker
  • Juri Kiriko
  • Guile Soldier: 76
  • Blanka Winston
  • M. Bison Sigma
  • Dhalsim Zenyatta
Overwatch 2 X Street Fighter 6 Collaboration Chun Li Juno
The heroes of Overwatch 2 take on the appearance of some of Street Fighter‘s most iconic brawlers, like Juno as Chun-Li.

The Overwatch 2 collaboration with Street Fighter 6 will be available starting May 20, with the skins likely available to purchase either individually or in bundles. Overwatch 2 collaborations tend to have 4-5 skins for purchase, so eight is really pushing it and will likely be upwards of $100 for all cosmetics, but we’ll provide pricing information when we can.

Whilst fan response has been mostly positive to the appearance of the cosmetics online, Blizzard continue their trend of using their most popular characters for cosmetics, and perhaps overlooking other, more deserving characters for the crossover. Chun-Li’s outfit being taken by Juno for example, instead of Mei who is Chinese and looks more like the original character, seems to be a somewhat active discussion at the moment online.
