PlayStation Plus subscribers have until Aug. 31 to access August’s three monthly games: Signalis, Big Walk and Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition. The games are available at no additional charge to PlayStation Plus subscribers, according to Sony’s PlayStation Blog.
PlayStation Plus offers Essential, Extra and Premium tiers with different perks and benefits. Plans start at $11 a month, and subscribers can access monthly games and rewards.
Signalis is a survival-horror game starring Elster, a humanoid android known as a Replika. Elster searches for a lost partner and missing dreams in a dystopian solar system while exploring a derelict spaceship, fighting nightmarish creatures and solving puzzles with limited resources. The game has drawn enthusiastic discussion from players online.
Big Walk, from the makers of Untitled Goose Game, is a cooperative puzzle-and-adventure game. Players can explore a wide world with friends, solve puzzles and spend time together along the way.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition takes place about 20 years after the original game, as a virus that turns people into zombies has nearly prevailed. Players take the role of a survivor delivering goods and news between settlements while searching for a missing sister. Parkour and weapons help them contend with zombie hordes. The game has generally favorable reviews on Metacritic.
