As another month draws closer to its conclusion we prepare for the excitement of what’s to come in October. For PlayStation Plus subscribers, we look forward to seeing which games are set to expand our ever growing gaming libraries, and like clockwork Sony has revealed what we will get the chance to play.
The big offering for October is Friday the 13th, the multiplayer adaptation of the classic film that sees players facing off against Jason Voorhees as they attempt to escape camp. One player takes on the role of the iconic killer stalking and attempting to murder the counselors. The rest of the group takes on the role of the counselors attempting to dodge Jason’s advances and gather critical items to ensure their escape.
PS4 owners can also look forward to Laser League, a multiplayer focused sports game that sees players attempting to outlast opponents using strategy, quick reflexes, and lasers.
As for older systems, PS3 owners will be able to get puzzle game The Bridge, which requires players to use gravity to reach the end of each stage. This will also be available on PS Vita as well as the PS4. You will also get Master Reboot, a psychological horror adventure.
On the Vita side, players can look forward to Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, as well as 2064 Read Only Memories. Both of these will also be available on the PS4.
If you haven’t done it yet, make sure you pick up the games currently running on PS Plus. Currently Destiny 2 and God of War 3 Remastered are available through the service.
