Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential monthly games for November 2026: Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, and Monster Train 2.
In the announcement published October 28 on the PlayStation Blog, Sony said all three games will be available to claim from Tuesday, November 3 through Monday, November 30. Dead Island 2 and Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered are playable on both PS5 and PS4, while Monster Train 2 is offered on PS5 only.
Dead Island 2 headlines the month
The biggest name in the lineup is Dead Island 2, the zombie action game that Dambuster Studios finally shipped in 2023 after a notoriously long development cycle. The blog post tells subscribers to “practice strength in numbers in online three-player co-op to increase your chances of survival”, with six playable Slayers to choose from. It is a rare recent AAA title on the subscription’s lowest tier, and subscribers who keep any PlayStation Plus tier can keep playing each claimed game after it rotates out of the monthly rotation.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered rounds out the classics
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, developed by Aspyr with Crystal Dynamics, packages The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness. Sony says players can “play with the original polygonal models or swap to the remastered graphics at any time”. Subscribers who claimed Tomb Raider I-III Remastered during its earlier PlayStation Plus run earlier in 2026 can now complete the classic six-game Lara Croft lineup for no extra cost.
Monster Train 2 and the calendar ahead
Monster Train 2, the deckbuilding roguelite from Shiny Shoe, mixes card strategy with tower defense on a moving train. GamingBolt reports that it is getting another clan through The Punished DLC on November 10, which lands while the game is still claimable. Sony has not yet announced November’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog additions, which are expected separately later in the month.
Subscribers have until Monday, November 2 to claim October’s monthly games: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
