Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to Complete The Disgrace Of The Salazar Family Request

Salazar is an even more hideous and cruel villain in Resident Evil 4 Remake than he was in the original. This creepy little man will tease and taunt you through much of the game. Before you get the chance to put him in his place face-to-face, you will have the opportunity to be a little petty and attack his ego a bit by completing a fun side quest.

The Disgrace of the Salazar Family request is one of the most creative requests in the game. Instead of going around killing rats or shooting blue medallions, you just need to vandalize a painting of Ramon Salazar. There are many ways this could be done, but only one specific way will count for this request. This guide covers how to really put some egg on Salazar’s face in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

How to Complete The Disgrace Of The Salazar Family Request In Resident Evil 4 Remake

After you pick up the request in Chapter 12, head south through the Ballroom, and then to the east into the Throne Room. You will remember this spot as where Salazar sprung a trap on you and sent you down a pit. He won’t be here this time, but for whatever reason, a few chickens have taken roost here. Check around for any eggs they may have laid and collect one of any type. Don’t scarf it down, though! Instead, equip that egg and move over to the northeast corner of the room.

Find the pompous portrait of Salazar hanging on the wall and take aim with your yolk-filled projectile. Splatter the contents on Salazar’s visage and the request will be complete!

All that’s left is to return to a Merchant to get your reward for a job well done: four Spinels!

What do you think of this request? Did you even know you could throw eggs like weapons? If not, there are lots of other secrets, such as skipping the Wrecking Ball or Cannon sections in the Castle you can try out in Resident Evil 4 Remake!
