According to our friends over at Nintendo Enthusiast, Minecraft will be releasing on the Wii U this summer 2014, coming from a retailer source. The source says that Mojang devs are in possesion of WiiU dev kits and that they are working alongside of Xbox One and PS4 Builds and will be focusing on the GamePad for the Wii U version. It seems Nintendo actually worked hard for this port and it seems they might have been able to succeed.
