Saints Row: The Third Remastered Launch Trailer Released

Saints Row: The Third Remastered was released this past week. A new trailer for the game was released alongside the game, which can be seen below. Saints Row: The Third Remastered was developed by Sperasoft, the studio responsible for the development of other big titles such as Anthem, Mass Effect Andromeda, The Outer Worlds, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game was published by Deep Silver. The announcement of Saints Row: The Third Remastered was first made on April 6th by Deep Silver.

In order to help keep up with the current generation of consoles, Saints Row: The Third Remastered features all new updated visuals, and is not a complete remake of the 2011 title as some might have come to suspect.

Volition announced in November 2019 that a new Saints Row game would be coming in 2020. Deep Silver later confirmed that the next project would be an entirely new game, completely unrelated to The Third Remastered. This has fueled hopes for the long-awaited Saints Row 5. Recently, a financial report revealed that a new game should not be expected until sometime after March 2021.

In the past, Saints Row, Saints Row 2, The Third and Saints Row IV were all released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Since the launch of the latest line of consoles, there’s been a notable absence of new entries from the Saints Row franchise. Saints Row IV and The Third, as a result of this new remaster, have both been released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Back in August 2017, Agents of Mayhem was launched by Deep Silver. Set within the same fictional universe as Saints Row, Agents of Mayhem was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered, the iconic game from the storied franchise, is now available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
