Screenshot Saturday – October 24th

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out last week’s list here!

Spooky Pixels

Elderand Screenshot

We’re in October, so we can’t get enough of these spooky goodies! Elderand gave us some fantastic lovecraftian pixel art in this tweet to get us going for this weekend. The art is very well done, and we can’t wait to see more of this game in the future!

Beautiful View

In this tweet, we got a sneak peak into a beautiful upcoming RPG. The environment and character designs are great, and the animations and camera angle present the beautiful art style in the best way possible. This is a game to keep an eye out for in the coming weeks!

Promising First Look

Top down medieval adventure games are a personal favorite of mine, so this one might be a bit biased! But if you like the genre as well, then you should enjoy this early look of The Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker that was shared in this tweet.

Impressive Progress

In the past few weeks, this style of showing progress was very popular among game devs, and this week, Thymesia knocked it out of the park with this tweet. The fast paced and fantastic combat, and the beautiful graphics shows how much time and effort has went in developing this title, and we really appreciate it.

Cozy Little Shop

It’s about time we shared some stunning graphic novels in the Screenshot Saturday round up! Thankfully, Dome-King Cabbage had us covered this week! The developer behind the game shared these unbelievably beautiful scenes from their work in this tweet, and we wish to see much more of this unique world.
