Skylanders Superchargers seeing special Amiibo support for the Wii U version of the game

Skylanders Superchargers could be the most exciting entry in the series yet for Wii U owners at least, during today’s Digital Event Nintendo and Activision announced a partnership for Skylanders Superchargers that would see both Skylanders and Amiibo used in the game. During the presentation two figures were shown off, Turbo Charged Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser, both characters when used with Skylanders Superchargers for the Wii U will have Donkey Kong and Bowser appear in the game which was pretty cool. Better still these two figures won’t just be for Superchargers they will also be embraced by other Amiibo interactive games.
