Steamworld Heist arrived on the 3DS last year and has gone on to be one of the systems most popular games, and what better way to build on it then to provide downloadable content. Image & Form has revealed that the game will be receiving additional content, at this point the studio is putting the final touches on their “The Outsider” content which will arrive on the 3DS sometime soon. The content itself will be released alongside an upcoming free update which will add new languages and features to the game, this new content will also be on display at PAX East 2016.
The game is also expected to arrive on home consoles in high definition sometime in the future, at PAX the high definition version will be officially shown off. You can see the first screenshot of this version above.
