Styx: Master of Shadows was a surprisingly decent game, but yet it was also one that I did not think could work with a sequel and still this what we are getting with Styx: Shards of Darkness. A new trailer for the game known as the E3 trailer has surfaced and in this trailer shows our goblin anti-hero heading for Thoben, also known as the city of thieves. Here he meets a human officer named Helledryn who tasks Styx with stealing the ambassador’s scepter, this item is extremely valuable, and also very difficult to obtain so why not have him do the job. Of course, given the items value this will not be a simple task, there are many others who seek the same treasure, it is made of magical amber, and this is the same material that Styx needs to fuel his power. You will need to evade all forms of enemies from Dwarves, to Elf’s and use all the tricks that Styx has at his disposal to secure the magical amber.
Styx: Shards of Darkness is set to arrive on console and PC sometime this year, although no official release date has been given. If you have a huge interest in this game more details will likely be revealed at E3, and for now you can watch the new trailer below:
