Two Neptunia veterans are returning for Super Neptunia RPG.
Compile Heart has announced that IF and Compa will be making an appearance in Super Neptunia RPG, and has released details on the two characters (translated by Gematsu).
IF (voiced by Kana Ueda) is a girl of strong character who lives with Compa. She is investigating underwater cities, and her notes on them may or may not have a reputation of being legible.
Compa (voiced by Kana Sakai) is a naturally clumsy girl who goes about as if conjoined at the hip with IF. Compa is a talented cook, and is skilled in the treatment of injuries.
The opening cinematic for the upcoming RPG was released recently. In the cinematic, we are introduced to the main characters of the game. Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert all appear in the opening, as well as new character, Chrom. The theme song found in the video is entitled “Dia vo Lhizer,” and is performed by Eri Sasaki.
Super Neptunia RPG will release for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 27th. The game will release in North America and Europe on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch sometime this Fall. This will be the first title in the series to be 2-D, and to be developed outside of Japan.
