The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is Heading to the West

Disgaea’s developer, Nippon Ichi Software, has revealed one of their latest titles will be making its way to the west some time next year. The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, a fairy-tale-based action-adventure game, initially was launched in Japan in May.

The prince in the game becomes curious when he hears the song of a female wolf and follows the song to its origin. His unexpected arrival scares the wolf, and as a reflex, the wolf attacks and blinds the prince. Feeling guilty for harming the prince, the wolf transforms herself into a princess and takes him on a quest to find a way to heal his eyes. As their journey progresses, they become emotionally attached to one another.

The princess has the ability to transform back and forth from human to wolf. This allows her to protect the prince from enemies while in wolf form and to solve puzzles and progress through the stages with the prince in tow while in human form.

There is no set date as to when exactly The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince will launch in the west, but we do know it will keep its Japanese audio and will have English subtitles when released in the U.S. The game is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
